St Lukes Art Project and SLAP-DASH publishing opens its doors to Art Transpenine with an exhibition of publications by participants in “have you got a book inside” funded by ACENW, an open studio and a chance to contribute to the Slap-Dash-Your-Trans-Penine fanzine

Alison Kershaw has been running an open access art studio based in this 1970s church and neighbourhood centre in Longsight, Manchester for over 10 years.

Visit this unusual art space, see the ever-changing installation that is the studio, have a cup of tea with some of the artists and add your own contribution to a fanzine-style artwork entitled Slap-Dash-Your-Trans-Pennine,

Slap-Dash publishing, coordinated by Rae Story is St Lukes Art Project’s own on-line publishing project. We will be exhibiting the 10 books created by individuals who took part in “Have You Got a Book Inside You?” in 2007-8 (funded by ACE NW).

The project will be open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 1.30 – 4.00
