Würstungritz National Historic Trail: Source of the Mersey

Cartwright & Jordan will be embarking on a journey to the source of the River Mersey. Their voyage will take them to the confluence of the Goyt & Tame rivers, in Stockport, where they will document and signpost the beginning of this historic, mighty waterway. Together they will chart its geographic, ecological and cultural significance, from principal tributaries to brackish headwaters.

This marks the beginning of the Würstungritz National Historic Trail; a guide to sites of sporadic interest across the Transpennine region.
