There is a residue of intense labour that lingers over the Pennines. A loss in transmission of power. I don’t know how to weave, spin, or dye.

Exemplar – An ideal model marking part three of ‘Wide Sargasso Sea’ by Jean Rhys, sereptiously placed in copies owned by public libraries along the trans Pennine route between Leeds and Manchester during July.
